Life lately: unemployment

In 2 months, I have applied for over 60 jobs. I’ve gotten quite a few, “you don’t meet the minimum requirements,” a few application is still pending and 2 interviews.

1 interview I thought I had the job but I guess not since I haven’t heard back from the company in a week and 1 interview I aborted because the pay rate was significantly low for my qualifications

I have higher Ed and I’m unemployed.

It sucks

  1. This post is too real. I started applying for jobs a month before I graduated, and nearly 6 months later, I’m still looking. I have a full-time job, but I’m underemployed for my degree. Here’s to hoping we both find something soon!

  2. Hang in there sweetie. Many of us have been there. I was unemployed for 2 years. I now work but im very underemployed for all the degrees and education I have. But we have to keep applying and have faith that things will work out for us in the end.
